Automatic analysis of the advanced quality control of geometric distortion of an MRI installation performed with the MAGPHAN QIP phantom

Connected to the QUALIMAGIQ platform, it takes the MOD-MGP-QIP module only 2 mouse to analyse all of the DICOM slices acquired for advanced control of the geometric distortion which may be present in the images produced by an MRI installation.

These automated analyses cover the following tests:

  • Non-respect of distances (average and maximum position deviations in all directions together and in each of the 3 directions of space);
  • Non-linearity of distances (in all directions together and in each of the 3 directions of space);
  • Noise and Signal-to-Noise Ratio.

Specifications

This module (currently under development) automatically produces 6 different PDF analysis reports and a trend curve for each tested parameter.

 

Associated test objects:

  • MAGPHAN EMR051 or MAGPHAN EMR121 from Phantom Laboratory.
